Oscars: Final Oscar Predictions
The Oscar nominations will be announced on Thursday, so these will be my final predictions. If you want more in-depth analysis and information, I suggest you listen to the For Your Speculation podcast here. http://foryourspeculation.libsyn.com/episode-fifty-two-final-oscar-nomination-predictions-2012 I was a guest on the show this week and we spent over an hour talking about our predictions. Basically, I’m putting a lot of stock in The Master being this year’s The Tree of Life. If that doesn’t happen, then my predictions will be way off. I’m also predicting a surprise nomination for Judi Dench. I feel like Skyfall is getting a lot of last minute support (the PGA nomination) and it will translate to a nomination in a major category. There’s a huge 5th place spot open in Supporting Actress and Dench will fill that spot, I think. Otherwise, here are my full predictions! Let me know what you think and feel free to share your predictions in the comments section or link to your blog spot. I’m interested to see what everyone else thinks too.
